On February 5th, 2008 - Vote 'NO' on Measure H
When you vote NO on H, Clover Valley will:
• Remain untouched,
• A connector highway will not be built
• Rocklin will be spared from 14,000 more cars per day on our streets.
• 7,400 Mature Oaks will be spared
Developers Deceptive Threats
Developers are threatening that a NO vote allows them to build a much larger development. This is not true. The current plan of 558 homes is the only plan that HAS EVER BEEN APPROVED. Any other development could not be considered for a minimum of one year and would require the entire public hearing and approval process all over again. This would likely take years to complete and has virtually no chance of approval.
If the developer could have built 900 homes, he would have done this 10 years ago! Their new plans, if they decide to submit them at all, must start all over from the beginning and go through another state and federal process. The idea that they would try and submit a plan of 970 homes, when it took them 10 years to try and get 558 homes approved defies logic. Here is a history of the plans they have submitted over a 10 year period and the number of homes were LOWERED each time, not out of the goodness of their hearts, but because they did not pass state or federal laws:
1. In the Year 2000 - Developer submit plan of 933 Homes
2. In the Year 2002 - Developers submit plan of 772 Homes
3. In the Year 2006 - Developers submit plan of 558 Homes .
Rocklin residents will not be intimated by a bluff from big money developers into supporting a bad plan.
Protect Rocklin - Vote NO on H!!!!!
